The edrizzi® system is frequently installed in large industrial plants in the underfloor area, where it can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or in a combination of both. The system is already in widespread use in the automotive and automotive supply industries. edrizzi® technicians take care of air measurement and planning for retrofits. The conversion is usually completed in a single weekend.
When retrofitting existing facilities, the edrizzi® system is often installed horizontally due to space constraints. In this configuration, the edrizzi® cubes are placed horizontally into custom-made sheet metal trays recessed beneath the floor gratings. These trays are manufactured in all required sizes as bespoke components. A key advantage of this setup is the significantly extended service life of the edrizzi® system—up to thirty times longer than conventional systems. The reduced frequency of paint mist arrestor replacements greatly enhances both the cost-efficiency and the ergonomic quality of the entire facility.
Application examples
Conversion from wet to dry separation
These two applications represent a classic conversion from wet to dry separation in the automotive industry. In both cases, the edrizzi® system was installed in sheet metal trays under the heavy-duty gratings. The conversion from wet to dry separation results in an enormous increase in efficiency and sustainability.
Application example
automotive supply industry
The edrizzi® system has proven itself in both horizontal and vertical configurations in the automotive supply industry and in application processes involving robots. In this plant, a wet scrubbing system was retrofitted using the edrizzi® system, which was installed horizontally.
