edrizzi® Secondary filter

Secondary-filter – For uncompromising air quality in painting processes

Depending on the type, the edrizzi® Vario Box reliably separates a large proportion of overspray. However, a truly clean air flow and compliance with legal requirements in industrial painting processes require more than just a paint mist separation stage: the second filter stage – our five powerful post-filters – is essential for eliminating the finest particles, volatile solids, and residual substances from the air flow.

The right post-filter module for every application

In close cooperation with customers and system planners, edrizzi® has developed a wide range of secondary-filter solutions and offers an optimally matched secondary-filter type for every paint application.

The filter flow developed especially for edrizzi®: naffi® is sustainable, safe, and efficient

All edrizzi® post-filters are equipped with the innovative naffi® filter medium. naffi® increases the sustainability, ergonomics, and storage capacity of the post-filter stage and was developed exclusively for industrial paint application with the edrizzi® system. naffi® is made of 100% polyester, is recyclable, and consists of recycled fibers. As the filter mat is free of glass fibers, it can be handled without a face mask, safety goggles, or protective clothing, which greatly improves ergonomics for painters.

Advantages of edrizzi® secondary filters:

  • All post-filters equipped with naffi® filter fleece – glass fiber-free, healthy, and environmentally friendly
  • Filters are precisely pre-assembled and mostly delivered flat – reducing installation time, storage space, and transport costs
  • Individual type selection depending on application – the optimal solution for every paint shop and every type of overspray
  • Perfect addition to the edrizzi® Vario Box – for a comprehensive, multi-stage separation system

CUBE02

Disposable secondary filtration made of corrugated cardboard

The filter box has a filter surface area of 0.85 m² and a 400 mm deep air calming zone, thus enabling a particularly high absorption capacity. The filter box is attached to the slide-in element using a frame made of galvanised sheet steel. The filter is changed from the front. Due to its low weight, the CUBE02 is easy to handle. It is supplied flat and disassembled, including the naffi® filter mat. All filters in the edrizzi® system are equipped with this exclusive special fleece. The naffi® filter mat increases the sustainability, ergonomics and storage capacity of the secondary filter stage and was developed exclusively for industrial painting with the edrizzi® system. It consists of 100% recycled polyester fibres and is recyclable. As the filter mat is free of glass fibres, it can be handled without a face mask, safety goggles or protective clothing. This increases the ergonomics for the painting personnel enormously.

Construction

The edrizzi® CUBE02 secondary filter element can be combined with edrizzi® paint mist separators and slide-in elements of depths 300 and 500. The corresponding slide-in frames are required.

NFE03

The reusable secondary filter with a particularly large filter surface

The NFE03 filter element is the ideal secondary filter solution for systems in which the secondary filter can only be installed and replaced from the front. The mounting frame of this edrizzi® secondary filter element is made of galvanised sheet steel, into which the filter medium with a surface area of 1.05 m² is clamped. The filter is supplied flat and unassembled to simplify handling and optimise logistics. The edrizzi® system exclusively uses the special naffi® fleece, which increases the sustainability, ergonomics and holding capacity of the secondary filter stage. naffi® was developed exclusively for industrial painting with the edrizzi® system and consists of 100% recycled polyester fibres, which in turn are recyclable. As the filter mat is free of glass fibres, it can be handled without face masks, safety goggles or protective clothing. This greatly improves ergonomics for painting personnel.

Construction

edrizzi® NFE03 secondary filter elements can be combined with edrizzi® paint mist separators and slide-in elements of depths 500 and 300. Replacement filter mat blanks are available from Brain Flash.

NFEWP01, NFEWP02 und NFEWP03

Space-saving disposable secondary-filtering made of corrugated cardboard

The space-saving NFEWP secondary-filter types consist of a mounting frame made of fire-retardant corrugated cardboard and a cut-out of the special naffi® nonwoven, which was specially developed for industrial painting in the edrizzi® system. naffi® consists of 100 % recycled polyester fibres and is also recyclable. As the filter mat is free of glass fibres, it can be handled without face masks, safety goggles or protective clothing, which greatly improves ergonomics for painting personnel.

The edrizzi® secondary filter elements NFEWP02 and NFEWP03 can be installed independently of edrizzi® Vario paint mist separators at the side or rear. Type NFEWP01 is the secondary filter solution for systems in which the secondary filter can only be installed from the front. In most cases, the edrizzi® NFEWP secondary filter element mounting box can be reused multiple times and thus contributes to environmental sustainability.
